
The Vietnamese manufacturer of electric cars, VinFast, already has prices for the first two models that it will market in Europe, the VinFast VF 8 and VF 9, where they will start from €43,600 and €50,900 respectively.
They will be available in two different versions, Eco and Plus, and there will also be the possibility of choosing between two different battery sizes. The smallest will have 82 kWh of capacity while the largest will reach 87.7 kWh for the VF 8, and 92 and 128 kWh in the case of the VF 9. However, the prices announced are not relative to Spain, since at the moment VinFast will start the commercialization of its two electric cars in France, Germany and the Netherlands.
More specifically, and taking German market prices as a reference, the VF 8 Eco with the basic battery start at 43,600 euros, adding only 300 euros (43,900 euros in total) for the larger battery variant. The VF 8 Plus amounts to 50,500 euros, with 50,800 euros for the option of greater battery capacity, while the price of the VF 9 starts at 58,200 euros for the Eco line linked to the smaller battery (92 kWh). For its part, the Plus line with a higher capacity battery (128 kWh) reaches up to 63,600 euros in price.

VinFast has also announced the target autonomy based on the WLTP cycle. The VinFast VF 8 in its Eco specification will get you through on a full charge 420 and 471 kilometers with the battery of lower and higher capacity, respectively, while the VF 8 Plus will do the same with 400 and 447 kilometers.
For him VinFast VF 9in the case of the 92 kWh battery and Eco specification will achieve 438 kilometers, while with the 128 kWh battery it will reach 594 kilometers (the greatest autonomy of the entire VinFast range). for variant Plus, the autonomy will be 423 and 580 kilometersrespectively.

And it is that, in addition to the model of direct sales to individuals, Vin Fast has also launched a battery subscription plan in Europea plan that will be mandatory for all models marketed in Europe during 2022 and 2023. The package offers unlimited mileage and has a monthly fee of 120 euros for the VF 8 and 150 euros for the VF 9. VinFast will cover all maintenance costs and repair through the subscription plan and will replace the battery for free when its capacity falls below 70%.
