Officially the Toyota bZ4X is now available in Spain. The first electric car from Toyota lands in our market as a car called to revolutionize the electric segment. The reservation book is already open, although for the moment it will only be available through a subscription program. A renting with monthly payment for a period of 48 months (4 years). To reserve a unit, simply enter the Toyota website and leave 500 euros as a deposit.
A few weeks ago Toyota announced that it would follow a different business strategy for its first electric. The Japanese have a very particular way of thinking. Although they trust in electric mobility, they are still wary of the commercial penetration of the bZ4X. Given this situation, Toyota has opted for a subscription program for its first electric. A renting with monthly payments that includes services such as comprehensive insurance without excess, replacement vehicle and maintenance.
As we have already said, the subscription contract is made through KINTO One, Toyota’s leasing company. The contract is made for a period of 4 years (48 months), whose monthly fee will depend on the initial contribution of the client. On the Toyota website, the introductory offer is 599 euros per month with VAT included and an entrance fee of 3,914 euros. Doing a quick calculation we can discover that the total price would be 32,666 euros for the version with access equipment.
Toyota proposes two levels of equipment; Advance and Style Plus, both for the 4×2 and 4×4 versions. Among the list of items include such interesting equipment as: 360-degree camera, LED headlights, multimedia system with 12.3-inch screen, electric and heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, and XMode and Grip Control systems. for 4×4 versions that include specific driving and traction modes.
Mechanically speaking, the Toyota bZ4X comes in two possible formats: 4×2 and 4×4. In its single-wheel drive version, it offers a power of 204 horses with an approved autonomy of 516 kilometers. For its part, the bZ4X 4×4 reaches a power of 218 horsepower thanks to its dual engine, although it reduces its autonomy to 470 kilometers. Both units share a lithium-ion battery with 71.4 kWh capacity.

Taking into account these monthly payments, as well as the initial contributions estimated by KINTO One, the total prices that the client has paid for the bZ4X once the 48-month contract has expired are as follows:

- Toyota bZ4X Style Plus 4×2: 35,894 euros
- Toyota bZ4X Advance 4×4: 35,216 euros
- Toyota bZ4X Style Plus 4×4: 38,108 euros
