In order to be able to run all these high quality 3D animations and additionally create them in real time on certain occasions, Volvo will insert some new processors developed by Qualcomm specially designed for integration on the new generation of electric cars. Its specific name is Snapdragon Cockpit. This will allow a huge amount of graphics processing through minimal power consumption; From the technological company that created this chip, they assure that this element will mean 10 times more processing speed than the best currently mounted in any vehicle on the market.
From Volvo they seek to further increase their additions regarding safety and driver information.
