Polestar wants to do things differently. Their market impact strategy consists of not following the established rules, and that is why they have just announced the rates for a car that has not yet been presented. The next launch of the Swedish brand will take place in October, but we already know the official prices of the Polestar 3 for the Spanish market.
The Polestar 3 has been stripping bare little by little before us over the last few months. The Swedish brand has been releasing the information slowly, although it must be recognized that they have always been very open to commenting on data. Just a few days ago the head of the company, Thomas Ingenlath, declared that the sale price would be in a range of prices that would go from 75,000 to 110,000 euros. A high cost to stand up to a very specific model.
From the company they point to the Porsche Cayenne as the most important rival model. A strange fixation given the completely different character of both models. In addition to the price, we have been able to know other important details of the imminent Polestar 3, such as the size of its battery, the range of powers and the range of autonomy. The initial offer will consist of two models: Long Range Plus Pilot and Long Range Plus Pilot Perform.the latter with slightly higher performance, but with less autonomy.

A dual motor system will allow the Polestar 3 to offer an all-wheel drive system. The electrical blocks are powered by a NCM battery with 110 kWh capacity and managed by a 400-volt electrical system. The access version, which will cost a minimum of 92,100 euros, will offer a power output of 489 horsepower with a maximum torque of 840 Nm of torque. With a top speed of 210 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in five seconds, the approved autonomy will reach 610 kilometers.
top of the range, the Polestar 3 Perform will be offered from a minimum price of 99,500 euros. In that case, the electrical structure will be the same, offering the same nickel-cobalt-manganese battery with a 110 kWh capacity. In that case, the power will rise to 517 horsepower and 910 Nm of torque. Same top speed, 210 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. The improvement in performance supposes a loss of autonomy, offering officially a maximum range of 560 kilometers.
On a technical level, the Polestar 3 rests on the SPA2 modular platform that will allow the inclusion of a lot of on-board technology and top-level driving assistants operated by state-of-the-art LiDAR radars. The final launch will be next October, as planned, but the first interested parties can already make their reservations for this large SUV that will come to stand up to models as important as the Tesla Model X or the BMW iX.
