Stilus E-Allmountain, a radical e-mtb that becomes the top of the range in Decathlon in Spain

decathlon has added to its catalog a new electric bicycle of mountain, it is also positioned at the top in the e-mtb range of the French chain as it is the most expensive and radical of all those that the brand sells and has sold in Spain. It’s about the Stilus Allmountaina bicycle that through a double suspension and a very successful price (taking into account the concept) is proposed as an interesting alternative to the high-end ones that usually dominate in this category.

Already, this type of e-bikes usually show off a radical image, mainly granted by some aggressive and coined geometries, as well as by the arrangement of the central damping, a bulging front fork and prominent tires. In addition to this, the Stilus E-Allmountain that Decathlon markets has a frame finished in a striking gold color that provides a plus of exclusivity, although it may not be to everyone’s taste.

The electrical diagram that takes center stage in the Stlus Allmountain is the popular BoschPerformance Line CX fourth generation. It is a system that different manufacturers use from mid-range electric bicycles to the most exclusive and expensive ones on the market. In fact, the Stilus E-Allmountain V2, the younger sister of today’s protagonist, equips the same system.

It offers, in addition to the maximum 250 W of nominal power allowed by the European legal framework, 85 Nm of torque and a battery that on this occasion has a capacity of 630 Whwhich allows you to enjoy a power up to 340% greater than the cyclist’s own pedaling power, and an autonomy of use of around 5 hours, according to the store itself, which should be enough for a session of use intense, or on the contrary for a full day of route under a less demanding use.

The geometry is made up of a 6061-type aluminum frame, and incorporates a RockShox Super Deluxe with 150 millimeters of travel. Along with the central spring, a RockShox 35 front fork with the same 150 millimeters of travel becomes relevant.

Special mention, also, for the braking section, where SRAM Guide RE 4-piston calipers will bite the two discs (200 millimeters in diameter each). The transmission, meanwhile, is in the hands of SRAM, who provides the Stilus E-Allmountain with a derailleur and chain, both 12-speed SX Eagle models.

All of the above is offered by the French store chain in our country for a price of 4,029.99 euros.

Although for most it may seem like a high price, the truth is that like all Decathlon products, the relationship between price and characteristics is better than that of the most direct competition, so it will be an option to be taken into account by those who are looking for a high-end mountain bike, as it will provide substantial savings over others with similar components.
