
The automobile group Stellantis sold 10,373 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in Spain during the first half of the current year, which means reaching a market share of 25.7%, as reported by the company in a statement.
In June, deliveries of this type of vehicle in the Spanish market by the group led by Carlos Tavares stood at 2,303 units, which means that one in three electrified vehicles registered in Spain in that month was Stellantis (29, 8%).
Last month, the company registered 1,358 plug-in hybrid vehicles in Spain and 945 electric ones, while in the accumulated of the first six months of the year the firm’s plug-in hybrid sales reached 6,545 units and it also delivered 3,828 electric models.
The company indicated that it currently markets in Spain more than 40 electrified models of its Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot brands.
