In this context, Karsan considers that hydrogen is the next step in the future of sustainable mobility.

According to company data, hydrogen buses currently represent 2% of the European market compared to 23% for electric buses. However, in 2026 hydrogen technology in public transport will account for 8% and 15% in 2030, while electric batteries will account for 35% in 2026 and 50% in 2030.
