The Avenger represents a turning point for a brand as traditional as Jeep. Since entering the orbit of Stellantis, North Americans have changed their mentality, mainly in the old continent where regulations favor this adaptation. After having put the glove on electrification in part of its range, such as the Jeep Wrangler 4xe or the Jeep Renegade 4xe, the new B-SUV marks the introduction of the brand in 100% electric mobility, although it will also be available with a gasoline.
The thermal version will mount a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 100 horsepower and its starting price will start at 25,900 euros. As for the electric model, Officially named Avenger BEV, the commercial launch offer will only be available with a special finish called 1st Edition. which will have a particular level of equipment with exclusive details. Jeep will offer all the equipment available in the model, and always associated with the electric model.
The main features include the 18-inch wheels, the paint in two colors, the tailgate with hands-free function and the multimedia system with a 10.25-inch touch screen, the largest possible. When choosing the tonality of the bodywork, the Jeep Avenger offers the combination of yellow bodywork with a black roof as the most attractive of all. For the interior, vinyl and fabric upholstery and all possible options are reserved, including the 11 kW on-board charger.. Everything is included.
As for the mechanical part, the Avenger enjoys the Stellantis electric platform for small vehicles, the same used by its brothers, the Peugeot e-2008 and the Opel Mokka-e. A single front motor develops a maximum power of 156 hp and 260 Nm of torque. The battery offers a gross capacity of 54 kW. 17 modules and 102 cells that announce a range of up to 400 kilometers in the WLTP approval cycle. The load capacity is 100 kW, which allows to recover about 30 kilometers of autonomy for every 3 minutes.

Although the range of equipment is expected to be expanded in the future, during the first stages of launch the Jeep Avenger will only be available with the 1st Edition finish. Customers can already reserve the first units, although the price is not at all discreet. The offer starts from 39,500 euros, although it must be recognized that Jeep offers all the optional equipment that the car is capable of including. Although orders can already be placed, the first units are expected to be in dealerships at the beginning of 2023.
