Cabify will acquire 1,400 electric vehicles for its fleet in Spain

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a loan of 40 million euros to the Spanish company Cabify for the deployment of 1,400 electric vehicles in the coming years in Spain, as well as the necessary infrastructure for their operation as part of the decarbonisation project of fleet.

For the entity, the project has “a significant and positive social and environmental impact. It also has important environmental benefits in terms of positive externalities, including the reduction of CO2, NOx and particulate matter (PM) emissions”.

This financing represents a reinforcement for Cabify to achieve its objectives in terms of fleet decarbonization, which aim that all trips made on the Spanish platform be made in zero-emission vehicles in Spain in 2025 and throughout the world in 2030.
