BRABUS dares with the Porsche Taycan Turbo S for which exclusivity comes first

It is the first time that BRABUS has embarked on the preparation of models other than Mercedes, with whom they have been linked for decades. In this case, the new company to which the German coach will raise his exclusivity is Porsche. Specifically, the first Porsche models that BRABUS has had a hand in have been the Porsche 911 Turbo and the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. In both cases, as the Germans have accustomed us, they have modified their external appearance, as well as in the cabin itself, presenting in both environments an aspect that goes little unnoticed.

Aesthetically, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S has undergone a relevant exterior facelift. First, BRABUS has opted for a widespread use of carbon fiber in key places such as the front and rear bumpers, the wings or in certain aerodynamic details scattered throughout the bodywork, such as the rear diffuser, which considerably increases the first image we get of this brutal electric car. Additionally, and in case there was any doubt, around the entire body numerous badges bearing the BRABUS signature have been handed outas in the front, the wings or the rear.

As an extra point of spice for the exterior of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, a huge 22-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z “Platinum Edition” forged wheels. They are finished in a gloss black hue called ‘Signature Black’, which further elevates the model’s striking presence. The manufacture of these wheels guarantees a minimum weight so that the electric autonomy of the model is not reduced. The size of its wheels is 265/30 R22 for the front axle and 315/25 R22 for the rear. Inside these wheels are generous green brake calipers (to match other elements of the car) and more rigid suspensions that can lower the total height of the model by up to 20 millimeters compared to the conventional version.

If we open the access door to the interior, we will come face to face with a really inconspicuous cabin. Its front seats have been replaced by two new ones with a more radical design, with greater lateral support for its occupants. They are upholstered in premium leather in black and green with stitching in the same color. The padding of these has also been increased to ensure greater comfort.

The passenger compartment has been lined in quilted leather in practically all of the space. The interior pillars have been upholstered in this material, as well as the ceiling itself. The floor has also been lined with Alcantara, just like the trunk. The mats will match the seats and will be made of leather. For its part, the dashboard and steering wheel have also received the aforementioned upholstery and new carbon fiber trim. In total, 48 pieces made of this light material are housed inside.

Unfortunately, BRABUS has focused exclusively on enhancing the exterior and interior image of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, leaving aside its technical specifications, which remain intact. Even so, let us remember that the Taycan Turbo S has 761 hp of maximum power and 1050 Nm of maximum torque, which allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 260 km/h. . At the moment there is no known price for these exclusive units, since its manufacture is done by hand on request.
