New connectivity features have also been incorporated thanks to the update of the data communication module (DCM), through which the vehicle can communicate with mobile networks and the Internet, which can now be connected with the e-Care system. This service can offer drivers advice by diagnosing vehicle data in the event of a breakdown. In addition, the inclusion of this enhanced DCM also allows owners to remotely lock and unlock the doors via the Lexus Link app, turn on the hazard lights and regulate the air conditioning or heating before reaching the vehicle.

Another of the changes inside the vehicle affects the color of the finishes: the bone white tone has been replaced by the sand color.
On a mechanical level there are no changes. The 2023 Lexus ES 300h maintains the same hybrid system with 218 CV of power, whose main propellant is a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine, which is combined with an electric motor and a nickel-hydride battery. It homologates a combined consumption from 5.2 l/100 km and CO2 emissions from 119 g/km (according to the WLTP cycle). Due to its hybrid status, it enjoys the DGT Eco label.
